Specialising in the jaw to resolve TMJ disorder, voice problems, tinnitus & chronic pain, using Myofascial Release Therapy & Kinesiology.
What is Myofascial Release Therapy and how does it restore balance to the body?
Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT) targets the fascia - the continuous piece of connective tissue in our body that envelops every muscle, bone, ligament, organ - even our blood vessels!
Imagine a fisherman’s net where each hole is of a similar size and the net itself is nice and loose all over. When fascia becomes tight due to repetitive tasks, prolonged sitting, or injury and scar tissue, those lovely loose, even holes start bunching up and becoming smaller and sometimes disappearing altogether as the fascia continues to wind and tighten.
Fascia stretches naturally with the body’s daily movements - that’s its job; to give natural resistance and support during movement so that no individual muscle or structure is taking more load than it’s designed to take. When put under pressure through repetitive strain, not only does our fascia start shortening and winding, the collagen becomes sticky and the fascia loses its ability to glide and open up, making it really difficult for it to support our body to regain pain-free fluidity of movement.
Using slow, continuous pressure - sometimes light, sometimes quite robust - myofascial release therapy returns that space and fluidity to the fascia making it the most effective treatment for long-term, often permanent resolution for relentless stiffness and pain.
Ideal for preventing RSI of all causes, sports & occupational injuries, post-injury and post-surgical recovery, persistent headaches/migraines and for those diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and other conditions often referred to as untreatable without medication.
Very well suited to athletes, particularly dancers, people whose jobs entail sitting for large periods of time daily, musicians, writers and artists of all mediums.

Hi, I’m Chrystal
I’m an experienced and highly intuitive Kinesiologist, Myofascial Release Therapist, and TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Therapist living and working in Darkinjung Country, Central Coast. I’m also a musician, singer and mum of two incredible boys.
Ever since I was I kid, I have been intuitively working with the body to release tension, emotions and stored trauma.
5 years ago, working as a professional singer, I was given the devastating news that I had developed nodules on my vocal chords. The journey to heal my voice (without surgery) led me to TMJ Therapy - and it quickly changed my life. Now a practitioner of the method, I am constantly awed by the efficacy of this therapy for people experiencing tightness around the jaw, are grinding their teeth in their sleep, or are experiencing issues with their voice.
As a Myofascial Release Therapist, I am endlessly fascinated by how the body stores tension, and how this living, breathing orgasism ultimately understands how to self correct - I just point it in the right direction.
The body is my teacher, my child and my sage. I look forward to working with yours.
What my clients have to say
★★★★★
“Chrystal is spookily intuitive, her laugh makes the world lighter, and when she puts her hands on me I feel instantly relaxed. Chrystal’s knowledge of the body is second to none. I’ve been recommending every one I meet to go and see her. She’s incredible!”
— Donné Restom
★★★★★
“Crystal is one of those rare people who have the gift of being what i can only describe as a "True Healer" . No idea how she does it but she manages to locate problem areas just by touch then works on it with gentle but deep tissue pressure. The pressure might seem light ( i usually prefer a more firm approach) but the effects go deep. She has released some very stubborn and deep rooted ailments no one else seems to be able to reach.”
— Alexs Stadermann
★★★★★
“I had somehow hurt my jaw, and couldn’t open it wide enough to eat properly, and was scared to yawn, as it was so painful. After just one treatment with Chrystal, I could eat normally, and it was almost as if I might have imagined the previous pain. I highly recommend her without reservation.”
— Mandy Buchanan
